Our fairly new Samsung oven stopped heating up. Called Jim and he came right away to fix the problem. Very, very pleased with his work and will be using him again if the need arises. Highly recommend Somers Point Appliance Repair!

7 year old Samsung dryer vibration problem. Bought at Best Buy so I called the Geek Squad. Appointment was in 2 weeks! Charge for coming out, charge for labor plus parts. Googled local appliance repair shops. Saw that Jim had Sunday hours. Called and left message. Jim got back to me in an hour and was here in 15 minutes to do the repair. Within 10 minutes had the dryer apart and diagnosed the problem. Also went through the whole dryer while apart and checked everything out and cleaned the inside. I could go on and on. I will never use anyone else for any of my appliance repairs. He's the best..honest and dependable. Did I mention he was 1/3 the cost of the Geek Squad? Don't hesitate to use him. You won't be disappointed.

We recently moved to EHT. Our washer leaked water all over the floor yesterday. I had heard good things about Jim Martin and Somers Point Appliance. I left a message yesterday afternoon, Jim called me back and was over here this afternoon. He immediately found the problem and fixed it! He showed us the issue, and also showed us other things about our washer to help us in the future. It's nice to know that we have found our appliance guy! He's the best!

Our 3 year old Samsung washer's drum would come off balance in spin cycle and stop. Thanks to Jim and Tony of Somers Pt Appliance, the washer now runs perfectly. Jim was prompt in his communications and came out the next day. Before leaving, he tested to make sure the washer was operating properly and to our satisfaction. Jim came promptly as promised. He fixed what needed to be fixed things that were not even the appliances fault like venting and drainage. He didnt try and charge for unnecessary repairs plain and simple an honest man . Thank you Jim I will not hesitate to call again if I need work done !!!

Jim went above and beyond helping me to assess and repair/replace appliances in my rental home that I was selling. He is very trustworthy and honest- telling me what was worth fixing/replacing and what wasn't...I felt very confident using him as he wasn't just trying to sell a job. My dryer wasn't working, and so I called Jim Martin, and he talked me through different ways to troubleshoot the issue, and it worked! So, he didn't have to come out and service my dryer. I thought it was incredibly kind of him to offer free advice, so, I called back and asked if he could send me an invoice for his service to me anyway. He said that it's important to him that people know how to fix issues with their appliances, and he's not looking to rip anyone off. So, he wouldn't let me pay him! Haha. So, I thought the least I could do is write him a glowing review here on Google!

The pump on my LG washer/dryer combo unit broke on a Friday night (because they always break on a weekend). I called him and he called me back by about 7pm. He was able to get the part on Saturday morning and came by to fix it on Sunday morning. Pricing was fair and he was as overall just a good guy.

My dryer was making a horrible noise for few weeks! I called Jim, we set up the appointment. You have to be patient because he works all over the place. Nice person and very affordable price! Thank you Jim! I will use his business again!

He called me back within 20 minutes to schedule a service call and showed up the very next day. Service was excellent and pricing is honest and reasonable! My LG combo washer / dryer pump died (again - 2nd time in 2 years). I used Jim the last time and he was responsive and fair priced, so I called him again and he didn't let me down. I called him on Monday morning and it was fixed by Thursday. I've had a couple other appliances break over the past year and the repairs took weeks, if not a month, to get scheduled. So getting this fixed in a few days was wonderful. The price was reasonable and he's just a good guy.

Jim was the only repair guy I could get to come take a look at my Samsung oven, he figured out the issue, got the part and I was back up and running, and at a great price! I will definitely use him again!

CALLED THEM ON A SUNDAY ABOUT MY CLOTHES WASHER NOT SPINNING OR DRAINING.THEY CAME OVER THE NEXT DAY.AFTER ABOUT TEN MINUTES THEY WENT OUT AND PICKED UP A PART AND WERE BACK IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES . THEY PUT PART IN (about 10 minutes) AND FOR $100.00 I DID'T HAVE TO BUY A NEW WASHER. WORKS LIKE NEW. NICE GUYS AND THEY EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AND SHOW YOU THE OLD PART. VERY SATISFIED.

Our Samsung gas dryer was in desperate need of assistance. I called Somers Point Appliance Repair, spoke to Jim, around 4PM on a Friday night. Within the hour Jim was at my house, repaired my dryer and the cost for the repair and the part were impressive. We recommend Jim to anyone who needs a household appliance repaired.
Jim was personable, COVID conscious, and really cared about the level of the work needed to repair the dryer.
FYI, I contacted a few other appliance repair companies’ and was told either they did not work on Samsung or I didn’t receive an answer to my calls.

Called another appliance repair company and was told no one works on Samsung ovens in the area. Quick google search and I called SPAR. The came out installed a new igniter and the over works like new. Very reasonable price and great service.

I had the heating element go bad on my dryer. I called SP Appliance and they were at my house within hours. They fixed the dryer without a problem and also saw that my belt was also worn, and fixed that as well! I would highly recommend these guys!

I had an issue with my clothes dryer on Sunday and I contacted this repair company and the owner actually answered the phone on Sunday evening. The repair man came to my house on Monday and completed the repair and I was using the dryer within 18 hours of my call to the business on Sunday evening. The repair man at service my dryer were extremely professional and well experienced in repairing appliances. This is the very first time I utilized this firms services and I was very satisfied.
